| Description: | RIVERHEAD, NY — A woman ended up with a lot more than breakfast when she ordered an egg sandwich — at the county jail. According to the Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon Jr.'s office, a woman drove up to the security booth at the sheriff's office correctional facility and administrative offices in Riverhead and attempted to order a breakfast sandwich. Instead, she walked away in handcuffs, the sheriff's office said. On Friday at 10:12 a.m., 44-year old Lizabeth Ildefonso from Jamesport, who was driving a 2007 Nissan, drove up to Deputy Sheriff Yvonne DeCaro at the security booth and attempted to place an order for a "bacon, egg and cheese," Toulon's office said. She was told by DeCaro that she was at the Riverhead Correctional Facility and the driver insisted that she really wanted a sandwich, the sheriff's office said in a release. |
