His missive closely mirrored what he tweeted about the Nov. 5 church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas, that killed 26 people and wounded 20. “May God be w/the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI & law enforcement are on the scene. I am monitoring the situation from Japan,” he tweeted at the time.
