Description:

An c has resigned after a video was released of him during a traffic stop with a 65-year-old grandmother, according to police.

Police dashcam video obtained by Channel 2 Action News shows officer James Legg shouting at driver Rose Campbell.

“Hey, you’re not in charge. Shut the (expletive) up and get out of the car,” Legg yelled at Campbell.

Campbell was pulled over by another officer for failing to maintain her lane as she exited Ga. 400 at Windward Parkway, Channel 2 reported. She allegedly refused to sign her citation since she believed signing the ticket admitted guilt.

She asked to see a supervisor and refused to open her door, leading the officer to attempt to arrest her for disorderly conduct, Channel 2 reported. Legg was among the backup officers who arrived, and the video allegedly shows him being aggressive toward Campbell.
