Who are we to say that a company can't get an Idiot Award? Sometimes it's not just an individual it's the whole culture of the company, the association, the organization, the brand.


Flight turns into nightmare for dozens of passengers



Why this nomination? They should have put the customer first and made sure they were comfortable.

Description: What started out as a fun flight to Vegas turned into an absolute nightmare. Dozens of passengers were stuck in a plane on the tarmac at the Sunport for four hours.

At one point, police were even called in to help.

"It was horrible, hot and miserable," passenger Melissa Lucero said.

Sunport records show the Allegiant flight from Albuquerque to Las Vegas was supposed to take off at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Passengers say they didn't start boarding until after 6:00. At 8:30 p.m., three hours after the plane was schedule to take off and still on the tarmac, police were called onto the plane two remove two passengers who got into an argument.

Passengers say at that point, they were begging officers to bring them water, and they did.

"The restrooms were reeking; it was so hot we were trying to all fan ourselves," Lucero said.

At 10:15 p.m., nearly five hours after the plane was scheduled to leave Albuquerque, the Sunport says the flight took off for Las Vega
